Marcos Torres

Marcos Torres is a talented Spanish visual artist hailing from the vibrant island of Ibiza. With a career spanning over a decade, Marcos has honed his skills in the medium of screen printing, drawing inspiration from masters such as Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Miró, all of whom used this technique to create a significant portion of their graphic output.
The unique visual impact of screen printing, with its endless opportunities for expression, durability, and rich colour palette, cannot be replicated through any other printing process. Marcos’s works are heavily influenced by music, particularly the psychedelic sounds of the 1960s, as well as pop and rock culture, resulting in a powerful visual narrative that transports viewers into an intentional fantasy world filled with vibrant colour and iconic references.
In addition to his art, Marcos has also created limited-edition collections of t-shirts, records, and book covers, including a line for the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. His works have been featured in various media outlets, including Vogue, Rolling Stone, Marie Claire, and Harper’s Bazaar, among others.
With his latest exhibition, “I Wanna Be Adored,” Marcos has introduced art installations as new pieces in his collections, further expanding his artistic repertoire and continuing to captivate audiences with his unique vision and style.
